Beijing Water Cube

isplay: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="/uploaded_images/" border="0" alt="" />This is the design for the Aquatic Center for the 2008 Beijing Olyimpic Games. The outside of the buliding was inspired by the Weaire-Phelan structure which describes they physical make up soapy water bubbles. The inside gives the effect of being under water (love it!). The building was designed by PWT of Australia. It is currently under construction. I can't wait to see the final result. (Found on yatzer.com).
