Ha! How super cute are these cat toys? If they weren't sold out I would buy them for my cat immediately. The toys, entitled Little Dead Things (that's my favorite part), are made out of recycled leather and stuffed with organic catnip. The set includes; one dead mouse, one dead bird, one human brain, one zombie. Seriously, what more could a cat ask for? Available (hopefully again soon) on the Prairiebird's Etsy shop. (Found though Modern Cat).Labels: For the Pet Lover
Ha! I'm not sure this is a good idea, in fact I'm pretty sure it's not... but it totally made my day. It's wigs... for your cat. Ha! Cats are known for their big personalities. These wigs, by Kitty Wigs, just save your imagination some effort in trying to visualize that personality. Love it! (Found through NOTCOT.org).Labels: For the Pet Lover
Alright, I'm filing this one under brilliant pet products. It's a super cute window through your fence, meant to give your confined dog (cat/child/whatever) a view of the rest of the world. The Pet Peek is a 9.5" half sphere window designed to give your dog a full view of whatever going on on the other side of the fence, reducing barking and curious digging. I think it would make my day to walk by somebody's house and see their space cadet dog peeking out through this perfectly head shaped window. Love it! How super cute is this. I'm not normally SUCH a sucker for cuteness, but this is cute combined with brilliance. If you send Electric Luna of Ploesie Poesies a picture of your cat she will make a plush cat replica for you. This isn't just a cheesy stuffed toy, it's a stylin' kitty work of art. All the cats get a special numbered label. Check out the archive of all the 151 look-a-likes that have been created so far. Some of them are really amazing. Looking for stylish ways to reduce your carbon footprint? How about raising chickens for eggs in this gorgeous chicken 'Eglo' by Omlet? This product was designed by four Royal College of Art students a few years back (I actually first saw it at their grad show!). Since then they have founded Omlet which sells this Eglu and the larger Eglu cube for housing chickens, rabbits or guinea pigs. Their site also has tons of great info about being an urban chicken owner. (Found through Trend Watching)Labels: For the Pet Lover, Green, Products, To Purchase
If I ever get a fishpond, I'm definitely adding one of these fish lofts. It is basically a clear capped plastic tube, filled with water, standing off the bottom of the pond and rising out about the water. Assuming you have curious little fishies, they would swim up the loft to enjoy the view and you could enjoy watching the fish swim around above the pond. I always thought life life as fish would be good but I never imagined it to be this good. The flying fish bowl by Shay Alkalay is a large wall mounted fish bowl with rotating 3D scenery. See more images at www.shayalkalay.com.Labels: For the Pet Lover, Products
